Cultivating a Relationship with the Medina County Home

Since June 2021, Root 42 Harvests has proudly donated our surplus produce to the Medina County Home. We are thankful for the relationship that was cultivated with the efforts and outreach of Angela Mansier (Manager, Medina Square Farmers Market) and Gregory Brown (Superintendent, Medina County Home).

Root 42 Harvests was honored to be recognized in the July 2021 Medina County Commissioners’ Newsletter along with our fellow vendors of the Medina Square Farmers Market who make weekly donations of fresh produce or baked goods to the Medina County Home.

Root 42 Harvests Featured on Pilot Episode of Market Table Starring Kristin Gambaccini

We were featured in the Medina Weekly News on May 20, 2021. The article discusses Kristin Gambaccini’s new show, Market Table, which began airing locally in Medina in May 2021 through Armstrong Cable. Market Table will spotlight local farmers and growers like Root 42 Harvests who take part in the Medina Square Farmers Market. Gambaccini then uses ingredients sourced from those growers to prepare a dish out of her own kitchen. In her first episode, Gambaccini utilized our homegrown speckled lettuce, romaine lettuce, and trident purple radish microgreens to prepare a BLT Lettuce Wrap.
