Winter Update
It may finally feel like winter in Ohio, but we’ve been blessed to have continued success growing our lettuces, specialty greens, microgreens, and seasonal herbs even on the coldest of days! Read our January blog to see what we’ve been up to and what we’re looking forward to in 2022!
Greenhouse Construction (Again!)

ASHS Certification
In August 2021, Jake received the highest certification offered by the American Society for Horticultural Science.
Our 1st Anniversary
August 8, 2021 marked the first anniversary for Root 42 Harvests. We could think of no better way to celebrate this milestone than by giving back to the community that has supported us every step of the way.
Market Season
The market season at the Medina Square Farmers Market in downtown Medina has been in full swing for six weeks now and we have been having such a rewarding experience. We feel such a strong sense of membership within our community, stronger than we ever felt in the past.
Food Safety Training
During late April and early May, Jake participated in a virtual Produce Safety Alliance course offered through Cornell University.
