Partnership with Prayers From Maria Foundation

Jake, having a proud farmer moment soaking in the beauty of the Avon, Ohio field he cultivated in the summer of 2024.

In March 2024, Emling Agricultural Services began a partnership with the Prayers From Maria Foundation. While serving as the foundation’s contractor for professional agricultural services, Jake has been responsible for planting and maintenance of two sunflower fields in Avon and Sandusky, Ohio. Collectively, the two fields total more than 20 acres.

The girls joined us for Emling Agricultural Services first planting at the PFN sunflower field in Sandusky, Ohio.

This partnership is not something we take lightly because the fields serve as annual memorial gardens for the children we have lost far too soon to brain cancer. Having two young girls of our own, this loss is unimaginable, and we are honored to be able to use our resources and experience for such a noble mission: to remember those we have lost and bring support for funding research for a cure to DIPG.

Jake and Katie attended the PFM Foundation’s annual gala in July at The Foundry in downtown Cleveland.
